The Third Daughter is a book about emotions and mental health—acute discomfort with her depression and anxiety play a pivotal role in Sabine’s character arc. Elodie makes rash, morally questionable decisions, and while ultimately she must answer for them, she can be classified as an anti-heroine. Within the book you will find the following:
